This is a rather funny, but unfortunately has some truth to it.

Today, when bankruptcy happens, someone loses, and usually many people.  This wouldn't happen in the registry - if you endeavor towards something, and it doesn't pan out, tomorrow your still going to get your charge that you could then get your basic income from.  Have a bunch of cost of goods that you can't sell?  Don't worry.  If here is sufficient scarcity in the economy, somoene is going to want to purchase your cost of goods to be able to entice someone else, and you'll be on the receiving end of the natural distribution of wealth - just not as soon as someone who did produce something of utility.

If there isn't sufficient scarcity - well, what's the point in playing the registry game anymore?
